HOMCOM 8000 BTU Smart Portable AC - ArcticChill Series: 3-in-1 Cooling, Dehumidifier & Fan

I used to hate waking up at 3 AM to empty a messy water tank with my old unit. Not with this HOMCOM. It's also quiet enough that it doesn't wake me up when the compressor kicks in. Best sleep I've had all year.

Easy set up for any type of window with insulation to make it weatherproof. Easy remote and excellent cooling.

I rented a two-level duplex that includes an attic. During my first summer here it was extremely hot. Even though I have central air conditioning it doesn't reach the attic. I decided to buy this HOMCOM unit and ended up purchasing a second one as well. The installation was easy and they cooled the rooms down quite quickly. These air conditioners are great for managing humidity as they also function as dehumidifiers and fans. Each unit has a timer and sleep mode. Overall I'm very satisfied.

Landlord said no window units, but I couldn't survive another Texas summer. This is a total life saver. Setup took 5 mins and didn't leave a single scratch on the window frame. Security deposit is safe! Cooled my master bedroom down in minutes.

I have this unit right next to my desk during Zoom calls and nobody even hears it. The 2026 inverter tech is noticeable—it stays at a constant cool instead of that annoying on/off clicking. Fast 3-day shipping was fantastic!

As a mom with toddlers, the Child Lock was the deciding factor. I don't have to worry about curious hands messing with the settings. It’s handled the heat in Arizona without breaking a sweat. Worth every penny.

Very powerful nice control options and is pretty quiet for an AC.

This HOMCOM portable AC is a workhorse! Very easy set up; you will want to use duct tape where the hose attaches to the window mount and to the AC itself. While there aren't a lot of instructions it's pretty intuitive. The remote works like a charm. I was pleasantly surprised with how quiet it is on the low setting which is all I've had to use. I especially like that when the room meets the set temperature the compressor goes off but the blower remains on for several moments. Love the size. It really steps up to cool down. The price is very reasonable.

Cools our entire living room.

While I find it difficult to change settings I have it currently set at 72 degrees and its cooling my living space adequately. Easy to set up...not too loud...haven't emptied it yet.

I've had this unit for a couple of years now and it's easily been one of the most versatile and useful things I own. It cooled my room down quickly and made it actually livable during the summer. Since then it's been through multiple apartments with me and has never let me down. The cooling power is excellent for the size. The features like the remote sleep mode and timer are nice extras but what I value most is how reliable and consistent it's been.

Works very well. I don't know why I'd be surprised but this works WAY better than I would have thought it would. Easy to install and easy to use.

Cools a room fast and the 8000 BTU model here could easily cool a small house. I have it in my office and the exhaust is ducted outside. Pulls down the temp fast and completely shuts down to save energy once reaching temp set point. I'm an engineer so trust me.

Works Great...very powerful! Very happy so far!

Very efficient cools well.

I am using this in my upstairs bedroom and its working well. I am used to sleeping with a fan on so I love the white noise. It came with all parts needed to install the window vent. Easy 5 minute set up. For me it's already worth it.

Love this air conditioner. Especially the color — the white ones are more noticeable to me. Cools the room well. Would buy again.

Works great we are nice and cool now.

I have a small bedroom and this AC cools it down efficiently...fits my slide window without any issues...a very good price and it comes in all black with a remote...settings are easy to figure out with touch buttons on top...highly recommended.

It arrived two days early which was fantastic given the heat we're starting to get. Set up was easy. The packaging was unreal — I doubt it could be damaged in shipment. Attached the hose and after wrangling got it positioned in the window.
